My brother was studying in Melbourne, and we decided to pay him a visit (that means free accommodation and transport for us..). We spent 10 days there. To me, Melbourne is the city that has got the best weather in the world! The weather was so comfortable, it was literally sleep-inducing. At the end of the 10 days, we did not manage to go on a lot of sight-seeing (apart from Great Ocean Road and St. Kilda's - it would be a crime to miss these 2)....all we did was eat and sleep. In the end, we both ended up gaining quite a bit of weight when we returned home. |
From Apostle to Rubble Latest news:
Oops....One of the 12 apostles has collapsed. The collapse is a result of erosion, leaving behind a 10m pile of rubble.

According to newspaper reports, the rock formation was called the Sow and Piglets (!!!) until 1922, when its name was changed to The Apostles (to attract tourists). It then gradually became known as the Twelve Apostles, although there are only 9 main rocks in the formation. Now, only 8 main rocks remain!
