Shopping Galore!

Royal Palace / Temple of the Emerald Buddha
I've visited Bangkok twice. The first visit was with my friend, but the last trip was a family affair (I enjoyed the company of my husband, my mum and my brother). We spent 5 days there, having lots of fun shopping and sight-seeing. My mum was constantly buying stuff..... much to the dismay of my brother (he had to carry her shopping bags!)..

Seeing the Wats

I didn't get a chance to see the Wats during my first visit, so we made sure we set aside a couple of days for that in our itinerary. Here's what we planned:-

Day 1: Arrive in Bangkok, check into hotel (12 noon), go shopping at MBK
Day 2: Chatuchak Market, go for Thai foot massage
Day 3: Visit the Royal Palace and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, Visit Wat Pho
Day 4: More shopping (Chit Lom area / Sukhumvit area), Go for Thai traditional body massage
Day 5: Visit Jim Thompson's House, last minute shopping and check out of hotel, heading back to Singapore

Well, we didn't eventually stick to this plan (I didn't get to see Jim Thompson's House!), had to accommodate my mum's request for more shopping! I can't blame her, really, as shopping and eating are the favourite "National Hobbies" of Singaporeans!

Excuse me, but might I know why the tap water is not safe for consumption? And by the way, I might like to ask, actually how was your breakfast? You see, I like to be throrough. I am sorry my comment is so long, but (refer to above sentence).
