We're back from Japan! The trip was great, with great food (sashimi! shabu-shabu! etc etc) and beautiful scenery. We went to Tokyo, and also took the trains to visit places such as Hakone, Kamakura and Kyoto. I can't wait to return to Japan for another trip!

Me and hubby both enjoy travelling, eating and shopping. Places we've been to together include the US (for our honeymoon), Hong Kong (shopping and eating), Melbourne, Seoul, Bali, Beijing, Ho Chi Minh City, Cambodia, Macau, Taiwan etc...

Places we hope to see are Egypt, Turkey, India ... and the list goes on! We've realized that it is best to travel and see the world while we are still physically fit, and we try our best to visit at least one new destination a year.

We usually travel in June and December, during the Singapore school holidays.

The hardest part about travelling is actually having to leave our beloved dog (a red miniature poodle), Milo, behind. When we go travelling, he will have to go and stay with my mom ... which is not too bad for him, actually. Cos she loves him so much and pampers him with good food and treats!

The most memorable trip we've done together was of course our honeymoon. This picture is taken while visiting the Grand Canyon.

The trip was fun, but I really hated the long flight...not sure if I'll tolerate having to fly to such a distant destination again! And, funny things happen to me when I fly....for example, during my first trip to Australia, the plane had some technical problems before take-off, and all passengers had to be checked into a local hotel and wait till the following day for another flight! On our return trip from the US, it happened again! This time, the delay meant that we missed our connecting flight at the Japanese Narita Airport....so we had to spend the night (compliments from the airline, of course) in Japan!

Considering the fact that I'm not a frequent traveller, isn't all these quite bizarre?
