Yes, I'm just a small town country boy from the beautiful swamps of Louisiana. It is a great state of diverse people therefore cultures that blend together wonderfully. I encourage a visit to everyone. The food is some of the best in the world and can find in the smallest of villages. Most people know of New Orleans and it is a great stop especially around carnival time (Mardi Gras) early spring one word of caution, make sure you stay in safe areas of the city. Could be some bad gators in those dark alleys on we don't want you hurt in any way. Like anywhere in the world be sure of your environment. It's home though I seldom get to see it. Please go for me and give me a report. Thanks.

A New Chapter Begins

My Nieghborhood

For many years I called this nieghborhood home. I will never see it again for it is all gone. We took a direct hit and this is dead center landfall in Louisiana. I am so fortunate that myself and all of my friends were spared and are safe. I have decided to live in a new area of the world. Many of you may have heard of Ruth Chris steak House they are all over the world. The first of her family's steakhouses was opened by her brother Sig Udsted next to the green building in the upper right. I have eaten no better steak anywhere in the world. Pray for everyones recovery from Hurricane Katrina.
