Brisbane Warning or Danger Tips by rejoice

The experience of car parking in Goodearth Hotel, Brisbane was a very unpleasant and challenging one. Not much space for our small rented Hyundai Elantra to move around at all. Imagine that! We complained to the receptionist on duty but it didn't help at all. It seems it was not their problems but ours. No valet parking or so. The receptionist even suggested that we park our car outside the hotel.
Security guard was not friendly either. He saw us having difficulty in parking but yet not sympathetic at all. In fact, the security guard complainned about us to the receptionist. The same receptionist (i think his name is Michael) called us up in the room. Whew! What we were doing was just removed a road block for more turning space and that also got complaint!!! ....Really lose our cool. We wanted to check out from the hotel on the first day but the receptionist said that the hotel will not refund us a cent at all.
:( ....I booked the hotel room via internet booking - One major disadvantage for booking accomodation via internet.
We didn't want to lose our 2 nights accommodation charges and therefore we stayed, reluctantly. Anyway, to avoid any further frustration, we returned the rented car immediately on the 2nd day.
