I had so much fun learning about the lighthouse of Outer Banks Crossing. This is one we were able to get closer pictures of as the others were often off-limits. It was built in 1872.

Cape Hatteras Lighthouse

This is the famous lighthouse that was moved to prevent it from being destroyed by erosion. It was built in 1869 and was off-limits at the time of this photograph. I will definitely go back one day!

Pros and Cons
  • Pros:Great picture taking opportunities, great seafood
  • Cons:It was rather expensive to rent a house, but still better than stayin in a hotel.
