Bunker Hill: The whites of their eyes!

  • Bunker Hill is home to a famous battle fought in the American Revolution, it consists of a small museum and a large obelisk monunument. To climb to the top of the monument there are 294 steps!!! Once you're at the top there is a nice view but there are no open windows. Needless to say the trek was exhausting, however the monument and museum were interesting and the bunker hill area is very pretty. The highlight was the ice cream truck waiting at the bottom of the hill!!

  • The U.S.S constitution is a navy boat that is over 200 hundred years old. It is staffed with navy reservists and you have the option of going and guiding yourself with a pamphlet or waiting longer to have a guided tour which includes seeing the downstairs area of the ship. There is also a small but quaint private museum you can learn about the history of navy boats and what life at sea was like in the 19th century.

  • Havard consists of many historical buildings such as the memorial building, the library, mass hall and the famous statue of John Harvard. Aside from all this the most interesting thing was the people watching, there is a calm casual attitude(in the summer) and there are several small cafes to sit outside and enjoy the atmosphere.

  • these are the bleacher seats!!

  • I wasn't a red sox fan before this game but after going to a game and feeling the great energy and spirit of the crowd I sort of wished I was. Fenway park is an intimate setting which seats about 35,000 and has been sold out for the last 187 games, so seats are still available but you'll probably have to get them from a place like stubhub.com. Since the stadium is smaller even the seats we had in the bleachers were pretty good the people around us were friendly even knowing we were tourists. Go red sox!

  • I went to Revere beach because it seemed to be the easiest beach to reach by subway. It is a basic city beach and was not extremely scenic nor was it in a posh neighborhood. If you're looking for a beautiful immaculate New England beach go elsewhere but if you just want to lay by the water or you're just looking for a break from the Boston city sights this is a nice enough beach.

Christina's and La Creperie are both great places to eat! Ah, I miss Christina's right now, I used to live within a block of the place... Hope you enjoyed Boston and Cambridge!
