Florence is much smaller that Rome of course, it's streets and buildings are all quaintly pretty, and there is a wealth of art to see including the spectacular David, by Michelangelo, which was more beautiful than I'd even thought it would be. Florence being smaller also seems to be more plagued by tourists than even Rome and expect to see more Americans and British than actual Italians. |
