Emily's Travels

The eiffel tower at night

Emily's Travels

I began really traveling over three years ago after studing abroad in Barcelona. This is the city I know the most about because I lived there for two years. I haven't stopped traveling since both in Europe and the United States.
The Lizard at Parc Guell

Barcelona

It was a different experience to be a foreign exchange student I wasn't really a tourist, but I definitely was not a local either. Later working in Barcelona I got to know more locals and felt more a part of the city. Even after being in Barcelona for two years I never got bored, that should say a lot about the city and the multitude of things to do and see. Anyone there for a weekend or a few days will have an endless amount of fun sights and activities.
L'arc de Triomphe

Paris

The city of lights, romance, and a thousand sights to see! Seeing Lance win again was a highlight to my trip, but Paris itself was just as exciting. Going to the top of the Eiffel tower for the first time, and seeing Versaille were other great moments in my trip to Paris!

Ti amo Italia!

Visiting Rome and Florence left me wanting to see even more of Italy, I will definitely make a return trip one day. The highlights for me were the statue of David in Florence(it's huge) by Michelangelo, and of course the Coliseum and the Vatican in Rome, and also the Sistine Chapel which after learning about in Art history was amazing to see in actuality!!

Next stop....

My next trip will be Prague this March, please if you have any great tips you would like to share with me about Prague I would really appreciate it!
