I grew up in Littleton, Colorado and finally escaped at the tender age of 17 as an exchange studnt to France. I attended college in New York City and discovered after graduation that the world of ballet wasn't for me (after 17 years of ballet training).
So what's a former ballerina to do? Travel, of course!
After 6 years in the City, I moved to Sitka Alaska and where I spent 3 summers and 1 winter (with 1 winter in Vieques, Puerto Rico in there). Now I am doing Peace Corps and can't wait to find out where my next place will be.
So far so good...
I am 1 year into my Peace Corps service and, despite the ups and downs, I am learning and working and actually enjoying it.
I am living in Bairam aly, the second largest city in Mary welayat. I live 2 minutes from ancient Merv and go camping out there regularly. It's fantastic.
