Well, I've been here a couple of months, and so far I've found :

I met an australian (cheers), a malaysian (cheers?), and every time the experience was culturally and relationally *very* interesting.
Of course I can mention the online conversations, lot of nice people around, hope I'll meet you soon !

Well, I'll try to add some too, to do my part of the job. Note that the forums are useful too, and I try to answer every question about Bordeaux (although I know nearly nothing about wine !)

People here seem to be thoughful about travelling and more generally the planet we live on.
Is it by travelling that you learn about how the world goes ? I'm not far to thinking that, here I see people responsible and aware... That suits me really fine !

After 3 years of omnipresent roadworks, the center has been finished early 2004.
The policy is now to avoid cars, and to promote hopping on a tram, cycling or walking. And it works !
