My round trip in Eire

On the bus from Belfast in Northern Ireland via Dublin, Kilkenny, Cashel, Cork and Killarney to Limerick, then back to Dublin and Belfast. Cityhopping from hostel to hostel, on the bus. Just stayed one to three days in each city, but had a great time and nice acquaintances.

Quintessence: green hills, cheerful pub sessions, ancient castle ruins, reverential churches, lots of tea and scones for breakfast.

Pros:"pocket-size cities easily to explore, scenic landscapes and many ancient castles to get into touch with the vivid Irish history"
Cons:"the transport system is also quite ancient, rudimentary and rather unreliable"
