The famous castle of Sanssouci
What do people first think about when referring to Potsdam? Of course the various castles and gardens that are now protected by the Unesco: Sanssouci, the New Gardens, the park of Babelsberg and so on. But Potsdam has more to offer, even though the traces of Prussian history are still very visible throughout the city. However, GDR times have enormously shaped the city's face as well. Just consider the city centre. So, let's start a little ramble around Potsdam...
