Apparently most people think of Dijon as rather out of the way - even my French friend said he has never been there and asked what made me decide to go there - but it ended out being probably my favorite city in France. The little winding alleyways, the lively night spirit, good food, lovely countryside, it was easy to get around and people were wonderfully helpful.
