Just spent 3 days at the Taverna, excellant, is the ony word, great location, food typical european, bur loads of choice. Rooms a bit on the small side but for 3 days it was spot on. Handy for all transport pick ups and only about 3mins waks from the river.if you go the Budapest try the Market about 10mins walk from the hotel,when you come out turn left keep walking for 10 mins and you can't miss it. also try a night out up in the castle district, go the the House of Hungarian wines at about 5.30pm its costs about £8.00 each you get a glass then your let loose for up to 2 hours to drink as much as you like, then go to one of the many resturants uo there, we went to one near enough to the wine place , fantastic food and even a violinist to serenade you after your meal, what more can I say.
