Went to Paris to visit my friend Brigitte and her family - her son is now nearly 14 and i havent seen them for over ten years! Its horrendous how time flies more quickly as i get older (just had my birthday so it is going to be hard getting used to that extra digit!)
Brigitte lives in Santeny outside the city, but we took several trips on the RER and did a bit of sightseeing with my sister Christine. I still love the size and grandeur of the place, the coffee shops, bars and parks, the flowing Seine and the only thing now after so many years is the feeling that tourists are just swamping the city - where have all the Parisians gone!??? |

Glad you had such a good return visit to Paris. I went back in June after a long absence. I've done the bateaux mouche thing in other cities like Strasbourg and Amsterdam, but never in Paris. Really must do so next time. |
