The city of Arusha is the starting point for safaris in Northern Tanzania. It is 40 km's from Kilimanjaro Airport.
Pros and Cons
- Pros:Small, easy to orientate yourself, cheap taxi
- Cons:Not too many sights to see, dangerous to walk at night
- In a nutshell:It's a good transit place between fly-in/out and safari parks.
