Totally different from Bali Not only the religion (most of them are Muslim while Balinese are Hindu), the landscape/climate (our guide said: although only about 100 km's from each other, there is a virtual border between Bali and Lombok, the latter one is Australasian) much drier, much less lush vegetated but also the people are so different: much more reserved. |

An interesting place "off the beaten track" Not only the population is much less dense but much less tourists visit Lombok. However (or just that's why) it's worth coming here for one or two days to "explore". |
