Milford by boat Milford Sound is a great highlight of any New Zealand itinerary, and you should give it at least half a day for maximum worth-whileness. It was raining when I toured the fiord on the 2h scenic cruise option, but the rain seemed to add to its beauty. Moody, dramatic and definitely awe-inspiring, it's a photographers' heaven, and a great wildlife viewing opportunity. (did I mention the fur seals?) |
