All in all, DC is perhaps one of the most walkable cities in the US.

Say you're in DC and you've spent all day doing the typical touristy regiment of seeing momuments, visiting museums, and taking tours and you're just looking for a place to "unwind" for a few hours. Kramerbooks is your place.

Kramerbooks is a novel idea which combines two essential themes, books and booze, in one. Part cafe/bar and part bookstore, Kramer's is open 24 hours on the weekends and serves as a great place to hangout. The bar is frequented by both locals and out-of-towners and it's a great place to strike up a conversation over a beer. Every evening from Wednesday to Saturday, they have live music from a variety of genres.

Hands down, I recommend Kramerbooks as a great place to hang out. I mean booze and books....what more could you possibly want?

So the media finally gets it's own museum, otherwise known as the Newseum. It is the world's first interactive museum of news. According to the website, the Newseum is really big on promoting the "free flow of information" as well as the First Amendment.

That's great and all, but they should also put up some exhibits that explain why the media has become so messed up in this country!
