Žingvellir is an amazing national park located roughly 50 miles northeast of Reykjavik.
The park has breathtaking scenery, including interesting rock formations, waterfalls, as well as the world-reknown geysir. At the center of the park is Žingvallavatn, which is an enormous lake which provides a perfect backdrop against the mountains. |
