Perfect Hawaii Sunset.

Wakiki is all cafes and bars/pubs, hotels and of course the famous beach where you can learn to surf , sails and paddle a canoe.

Although it is extremely touristy, I like the feel of the place as everyone is there to have a good time as most are on holiday.

PS The pictures quality are not that good as it was taken using my old camera.

We have our base here for 2 weeks from which we explore the rest of the island using the local bus network. For a few dollars you can do a loop around the island.

Best thing about Wakiki is the people, the tourists, the street performers, the luan on the beach and diamond head in the background.

Make sure you don't spent all time here, during the day head to the other side of Oahu and explore.
At the end of the day after a hard day of sightseeing make sure you go for a stroll along the beach and enjoy one of those perfect hawaii sunset.

This is the famous statute of Duke Kahanamoku on Wakiki Beach.... the duke was one of the driving force behind the popularity of surfing and make it such a great sport enjoyed by so many around the world.

What beautiful photos of Hanauma Bay! I and my mother visited there this February. It was cold at that time, but we snorkeled :-)
