Restaurant Name: Newmarket Chinese Kitchen
The decor is very simple but the food is great and staff friendly. Most of the patrons are chinese so you know it must be good. I usually go there for lunch if I am in this side of the city and have never drop in for dinner. Opening hours: Lunch 11:00am to 03:00pm. Dinner 05:30pm to 10:00pm. Monday to Friday.
Favorite Dish: Dim Sum of course!

This place is not convenient to visit if you are staying in the city as it is located in the North Shore, 20mins drive from downtown. Open 7 days. Lunch : 11:30am to 02:30 pm. Dinner: 06:00pm to 10:00 pm.
Favorite Dish: Dim Sum again of course.

Restaurant Name: Malaysia Satay Restaurant
If a nice decorated place with some Malaysia kites and a nice bar . This is the best Malaysian place I have visited in Auckland so far and has been back many times. The lunch menu is good value for money . They have branches in Albany and Howick in Auckland. I have only visited the Northshore branch .
Favorite Dish: The chicken or lamb curry with nun bread..yummy.
