"Te Anau" Te Anau by Robdaz

Te Anau is a small town nestled on Lake Te Anau. We just spent a night there on our way to Milford Sounds. The town has the usual tourist activities liked jet boat rides and cruise. If you have not seen a Glow-worms than there is a boat that will take you into a cave where you can see these worms for yourself.

Te Anau is also where a lot of trackers stay as their are many walks in the area. So lots of outdoor activities to chose from.

We didn't do any of these activities and spent most of time in the town area before heading back to Queenstown. The town has a number of cafes and restaurant There are plenty of accommodation to chose from. we stayed at the Te Anau Top 10, which has great facilities and only 5 mins from town.
