    • This " Fly-eyed" Building was built to give the city a bit of culture a bit liked the Opera House in Sydney.

    • I have been to singapore many times but never been to the Raffles Hotel until now. It's a grand colonial hotel with beautiful well landscaped grounds and court yard. This is where the famous Singapore Slings was invented and I heard the afternoon tea here is great too.

    Boat Quay: Walk the banks of the Singapore River

    • If you have time , make sure you walk the Singapore River from it;s mouth near the Merlion Park to Boat Quay. If you can stand the humidity and heat , you will enjoy the many beautiful sculptures and historical sites along the way. My favourite sculpture is the one of the gang of Kampungs(Village) boys jumping into the river near the Fullerton Hotel.

    • The river cruise on old replications of the old cargo boat is definitely worth the price. Make sure you do it in the late evening when the city lights are on.
