You can't miss this great building when you are in the city. Unfortunately their is no observation deck on the top floors of this building but I understand that if you go really early they do give out limited free entrance for you to go to the sky bridge linking the twim towers. At the base of the tower their is a very nice shopping mall, Suria KLCC with nice store, food court and cafes. Don't forget to walk the well landscaped ground around this complex where you can get a good view the KL skyline and the twim tower itself and some interesting sculptures.

Worth a visit if you like this sort of thing. This KL Tower definitely give you the best view of the city. On a clear day you can see city, the surrounding Klang Valley and hills . In additional you will be able to take a great picture of the Petronas Twin Tower. Of course , there is a restaurant on top if you fancy a meal with a view. Every major city seem to have something like this , Skycity in Auckland , CN Tower in Toronto and Sky Needle in Seattle ( I think that's the name)

This is my favourite building in KL. The building was completed in 1897 after a 2 year construction. There are gleaming copper domes and a 130-meter clock tower and it is sited just across the road from Dataran Merdeka. It is a fantastic blend of Moghul, Moorish, Arab, and British neoclassical architecture. It is a style far more expressive of the British colonial imagination than the local Malay culture. Today, it is houses the Judicial Dept and InfoKraft , whihc is a centre for Malaysia handicraft.

This is one of my favourite place to visit while in KL. I love to watch the artist draw potrait as well as look at the various arts and crafts on offer. About fifty years ago this was a wet market but today, the art-deco structure of the Central Market is a centre for the display for Malaysian culture, arts and crafts. There are also some food outlets here where you can get a bite.

The is always a great place to visit day or night but their are a lot more stalls and activities at night. Petaling Street maintains much of its traditional atmosphere, particularly at night when vendors spread their wares out on the street. Even if i don't buy anything i enjoyed just wandering about and enjoying its sights, sounds, and energy. It is always fun to listen to people bargaining , locals and tourists alike. You can get almost anything here from toys, t-shirts, watches, DVDs,etc etc. Almost all carried famous brands but of course not the genuine article. Bargain hard for a good price.

This was formerly known as the Selangor Club Padang where the colonial Brits used to play cricket and have their afternoon teas at the merry old England tudors styled Selangor Club building. It was on the Dataran Merdeka that at 12:01 am on August 31, 1957, the Union Jack was lowered and the Malayan flag hoisted, signaling Malaysia's independence as a nation. Today, a 100-meter flagpole, one of the tallest in the world, marks this spot. Funny enough beneath the Dataran Merdeka is the Plaza Putra, an underground food, leisure, and entertainment complex,
