Serengeti is just fantastic. Loved every minute of it so much so that I am going back again very soon!
There are so many different types of landscape and environments in the Serengeti it is amazing. I went in June 2005 which was just after the short rainy season. Even so, the plains where just as I had imagined them to be, miles on miles of flat land streching out into the distance. But I was amazed by the lushness of the place as well. |
|  | Wildebeest migration We well so lucky to be in the right place at the right time to catch the great migration.
It seems that for hours upon hours the wildebeest stampede past you, both day and night.
It's a fantastic site and sound. They make their characteristic "gnu" sound 24 hours a day which is really odd when you are trying to sleep in your tent! |
