Peter G - home!

by PeteG - last update: Nov 1, 2007

Hello and thanks for visiting my homepage. I'm only just building it so bear with me and I'll make it a bit more interesting over time!

About myself: I am 40, live with Ruth in Tunbridge Wells, Kent. I have two most excellent daughters Hannah and Abi.

I work in the City in London in the investment industry. If you are ever in the area drop me a mail and maybe meet for a beer!

Until then, I hope that you enjoy the pages I have added so far and come back and visit again.

Kayaking

One of my great passions over the years is Kayaking. I think it must come from being brought up in crowded south London and just wanting some space. I got the opportunity to try out Kayaking when I was a kid and that was it for me.

My normal favourite is now either playing in the surf on the beach, or whitewater down the rivers in the winter. However, last year a friend of mine talked me into a Triathlon event in Scotland. We entered a team and did it as a relay and raised over £3,000 for CLIC Sargent. CLIC Sargent is a Scottish charity raising money for Caring for Children with Cancer. The picture is from the start of the Kayak section of the race, 10 miles through Glencoe on Loch Etive. Beautiful, but hard work!

Hi Pete :-) Yes, next time I am in the loverly City, I drop you a note :-) I was there last summer, did some lovely walks in the backstreets and found many livery companies - and pubs :-)

Hi. Just received your Jordan postcard yesterday, thank you! I don't check my PO Box every day, so not sure exactly when it came. Looks like you had a great time!
