Name of Shop: Malls.
If you are intested in shopping, this is the place to be. During my second trip I got an appartment in Parramatta, home to the alledgedly largest shopping mall of the southern hemisphere. It covers 6 stories and covers a few hectares of ground..... Ranging from animal shops to Target, K-mart, Coles and anything you can imagine, the Westfield has it all. A cinema is of course included as well as restaurants and several food courts. Good luck in not getting lost.

Name of Shop: Queen Victoria Building
The Queen Victoria Building dates back a long, long time. It was constructed in 1898 and some remodeling of course has been done to keep it up to date. It is a victorian style building with lots of shops, many of which are too expensive anyway but it's nice to walk around. Take the time and enjoy a nice lunch in the center area of one of the aisles or up on the 2nd floor with a nice view of all the stories below you. What it is all about, the QVB has a really nice, extensive, Australian gift shop. If you have to buy something for everyone you left behind whilst traveling to Sydney, this is the place to be. It's not over expensive, in fact you can get some cheap things there.
What To Buy: Try to find the leather book mark in the shape of a crocodile or a kangaroo. They're only 7 dollars but they are really cute and a great gift for everyone. Or surprise everyone with canned kangaroo or canned koala.
What To Pay: Not too much, depending of course on what you buy. They have watches for around 20 dollars or less, caps for 10 dollars, canned koala's and kangaroo's.
