Of course a weekend to the Blue Mountains has to be added to your list to do. It is too obvious to tell the whole story about the Blue Mountains. In short, the haze of the Eucaliptus trees gives the mountains their blue color. The views are spectacular, wherever you are in the area. We spent a day in Wentworth falls and a day in Katoomba, one of the largest towns in the area. A few tips, if you stay at the Grandview Hotel in Wentworth Falls, try to get a room at the side or the front to get some rest. We spent one night there, the plan was to spend two but we hardly got any sleep. The second night we spent at the Carrington hotel in Katoomba for a dazzling 380 dollars per night in the Sir Joynton Smith suite. Magnificant views of the Blue Mountains and Sydney in the far east.... Only down side, some @#$ d woman decided to take a spa bath at 6 in the morning and, this being an old hotel, the zooming noice could be heard in our bedroom. So much for "expensive" rest..
The pictures and bushwalks compensated a lot. You can keep on shooting beautiful pictures there, unbelievable. The swamps, flowers, birds, views, trails, waterfalls, sunsets and much, much more....
