Well, the fact is that we don't live in Barcelona (BCN) but in a so-called "satellite" town quite close to it (Terrassa), close enough to visit the city at least twice a month.
BCN likes us but with some reserves. Being a tourist, its position is fantastic: beaches, mountains (um, better to say hills), beatiful architecture (touristic buildings of course), nice weather. The city can offer you a wide range of whatever you may want; it is moderately cheap (depending on the area you're moving) compared to other big european cities; it is as secure (or insecure) as any other big city can be; people are generally nice; traffic is getting worse everyday; steets could be more clean... Well, this can describe many other cities but BCN is somehow charming, you'll like it! As citizens, we prefer the calmness of our hometowns but, hey, we can get there in 20 minutes so that 's a big deal, isn't it?
