"Terrassa mala raça, Sabadell mala pell...." Tarrasa by ris_ez

This is what was said amongst the inhabitats of both towns: "Terrassa bad race, Sabadell bad skin" (literal translation) an insult just to offend one to another. The fact is that Ruben is from Sabadell and I (Isabel) from Terrassa and this insult hasn't affected us (of course, is just nonsense!).
Terrassa (Tarrasa), formerly named Egara (in Romans' time) is specially known by its romanic churches, jazz festivals, the past, present (& future?) textile activities, la Mola's peak (in Sant Llorenç del Munt natural park)... This is the most important, apart from we both living there of course ( ;-) )
Anyway, as we live, study and work here, we don't live our town as tourists but we'll do our best to try to convince you to spend, at least, one day in Terrassa!
- Pros:Easy to visit: in time and space
- Cons:Limited nightlife offer
