The Little Charmer who stole my heart away... Jan. 2, 2005
It was Christmas Day when I landed in Melbourne b4 changing flight to Hobart, Tasmania.
It was a very quiet day in Hobart.
No one was around on the street.
Practically a ghost town!
Never ever go to Tasmania on Christmas Day!
Yet, I have been lucky.
I was walking towards to Brisbane St. long-distance coach depot to get my ticket to Devonport.
Of course it was closed!
But... there's always a but, isn't it?
Across the street, there's a church.
There was a service.
Christmas Day... Church.
Yeah, it's been a long time since I attended a church service.
It was fate, isn't it?
So, I went across.
A very quiet church indeed.
Say a prayer whenever I visit churches.
A prayer of thanks.
Well, I might as well stay, nowhere to go.
It was noisy... oh, those kids behind me!
Eduordo... he simply is one happy & charming & innocent kid.
Beautiful mother. Danielle.
But it's the 2 children I'm interested in.
They are curious about strangers... an Asian one for that matter.
I don't know what it is about him, but he did steal my heart that very christmas!
May be it's God's gift for a lonely soul in a faraway land.
Whatever it was, it was an everlasting moment.
One that I'll treasure always. |
