There are so many skyscrapers to see here, if that is your interest. There's the Oriental Pearl TV tower, the old architecture of YuYuan Garden, the tall Jin Mao Tower, and the beautiful yuyuan theater. You can walk on the nine-curve bridge, explore Pudong, and try some delicious cuisine at the Gongdelin Vegetarian Restaurant. Walk on the Bund but don't be fooled by the tourist traps--just enjoy the river. It's a good walking city. And if you're in need of coffee (coffee? in china? it's possible in Shanghai!) you can visit some coffee shops. Try the nearby Zhouzhuang, it is the "venice of China" and lives up to it's name. |
