In 1861 it became the first italian capital of the Savoia reign, whose royal residences have been declared world heritage by Unesco.

 Hi I want to travel from Torino to Lourdes by train via Grenoble/Lyon/Toulouse. How long would the journey take? Or is there a better route? Cheers/yongjoe.

 One of the places I missed on my last trip to Italy!!! Have to come back for this one again!!! The chocopass sounds lovely, no gelato pass?!!! HAHAHA!!! Hope to be able to visit this lovely city someday soon!!!

 Thanks for bringing back nice memories. I spent a few weeks in Torino about ten years ago and found it very interesting, especially Egyptian Museum
