We stayed at the Millennium Seoul Hilton during our recent visit, and boy were we impressed! While we had to wait for quite a while during check in as the room was not ready (that was at almost 6.00pm!!), the nice size and ambience of the room made the wait a worthwhile one.
One more thing, do remember to visit the nice little park located behind the hotel. You will not miss it as it is on the way to the Seoul subway station. The scenery is amazing, and the fall foliage is especially breathtaking. We took so many photographs that the journey to the subway station took us 30 mins instead of the usual 10.
While the room rates are a little expensive, the Hilton more than made up for it by its convenient location, great room and good spread for breakfast. Nandaemum is just round the corner, and you can either browse in the night bazaar or grab something to eat anytime.
This was in stark contrast when we moved to Sheraton Walker Hill, where the room was small and we were far away from everything (but that's another story). We will definitely choose to stay at the Millenium Seoul Hilton again the next time we visit Seoul!
Unique Qualities: Rooms are comfortable and large. Good breakfast spread and helpful doormen.
