"MY BIG APPLE FANTASY" New York City by Jewelslover

It was everything I could have wished for and more. The hustle and bustle, the people, what a great city!!! There is so much life and energy in New York City. Lots of things to do and see. I was there for 12 days and I wish I could have had longer. There are museums, restaurants, on and off Broadway shows, shopping, tours, monuments, the ocean, dinner cruises, and so much more. Just the culture in the town is wonderful, it's a true melting pot of cultures and people.

Conservitory Pond

Beautiful Central Park. I saw my first celebrity here! I've been there twice so far, but I'm sure I'll be there again. This park is a gem for New Yorkers and visitors alike. Lots of people sit out on the grass to enjoy the sunshine and there are kids everywhere. You might even be entertained by live music, by various musicians.

This picture shows the pond where they sail small model boats. You can pay to steer the boats with remote controls. It's a nice place to sit, people watch, and relax.

Statue of Liberty

The Statue of Liberty is our national symbol of freedom and has been for hundreds of years. This is what millions of immigrants first saw as they came on ship to the United States. It is located on an island off the southern tip of Manhattan. You will have to take a ferry trip to see the statue up close.

• Cons:Loud, busy.
• In a nutshell:Everyone should visit New York city. Nowhere else like it!
