Alexandria by night

Alexandria Planetarium close to Bibliotheca Alexandrina at Silsilla Basin.
Inside

My Base

My white marble office at Cornich Road, facing Sidi Bishr Beach at the coast of the Mediterranean Sea.

I call it a marble cabin on the sea shore...

Alexandria Beaches

A small map of Alexadria showing its quarters and beaches. Apart from Abu-Qir, Maamoura ... and Northern Coast, One can enjoy about 15 Kilometers of continuous uninterrupted Corniche Road, full of popular beaches, extending between Montaza Palace at the east and Ras El Teen Palace at the west. with the Qayet Bey Fort in between on the ruins of an Ancinet World Wonder (I think I need not to tell you what..Anyway it does not need any clue... ; however have a clue!

It goes without saying, Mediterranean Sea and Mariout Lake are main seafood resources.

Thanks for Cavafis' poem! He was transparent that he is homsexual in this poem! And, that was a long time ago! He could have been ostracized at that time...
