I could live in Santa Barbara. Pretty beaches, close to wineries, excellent restaurants, too many shopping areas. Maybe it is too much, but I do enjoy visiting on a regular basis. We end up on State Street, which is a street lined with restaurants, bars and stores of all kinds. Actually I prefer some of the off beat stores off of State Street. At one used book dealer, I always end up walking away with two or three books I never new existed. Last year I found a publication by the Missoui Historical Society that had numerous referenced to one of my great, great, great, great grandfather's.
