Walking About in Valencia | I Think This Sums up Valencia Quite Well |
Valencia is a great place to walk about. The weather in July was very comfortable being by the Coast.
I flew in from Sevilla on Vueling. A short flight of 45 minutes, compared to a 6-7 hour bus ride or overnight train. I wish I had my camera out when the party girls, already in dance mode waiting at the luggage carousel, did a chest bump, but failed to factor the reverse impact four mounds of silicon make when they collide.
The metro connects the airport to the city center. Very easy connection, head downstairs, buy a ticket for less than 2 euro and in a very short time you are in old town Valencia. I exited at Xativa, which is also the main train station and also has a tourist information office. |
| | A mixture of old...... The Torres de Serrano, part of the original walls encircling Valencia are massive and impressive. On the other side of the old town are the Torres de Quart. |
