A tough job, but someone has to do it.... After fifteen hours of travel to get from LA to Stuttgart, I made a test run to one of the approximately ten festival tents at the Canstatter festival area. Complete with carnival rides, sausage stands, and a myriad of other booths and foodstuffs, at 8 PM I finally picked a tent. Being the middle of the week the tents were only 75% full. I picked up a small beer at one of the "bar" sections which at 4 euros as a little expensive. The 2nd and 3rd nights I got there early and enjoyed more of the action at the tables.

I always wanted to get to know this city with a famous name-in the meantime, your great pictures and tips are a good guide
I think both my husband and I would have enjoyed the Mercede's museum. Like the photo's of the lovely old vehicle's!

Hi Karl, Been wanting to visit the car museum since I heard the advert "Herr Daimler, arbeiten Sie zu viel!" which runs all night on tv here! :) Good tip. (I've never been to Stuttgart.)
