A garden in the blue seas Expectations tend to color ones feelings of a place. Here the color blew past all my expectations. The mountains rising from the sea with slices of green running up them, packed with white homes and buildings, dense with flowers and gardens, set in the incredible azure sea. It is easy to see why Capri has been a destination for over 2000 years. The locals now pack the place, with almost every usable spot of land built to take advantage of the scenery and often become part of the scenery. Narrow roads wind up and down mountains, to and from the Marina, Capri and Anacapri. Walkways snake up the mountain. Stores s. tuffed in every nook and cranny |
| | View of the Marina Everything seems to come through the Marina. Visitors are dropped by the boatload. Then make the decision on whether to walk, take the little taxis, take the minibus or take the funicular up to Capri town. |
