On and Off the Road in Florence

Eating my way through Florence

Ponte Vecchio
I know I am supposed to write about how incredibly pretty Florence is, the incredible art, Michaelangelo's "David" the Uffizi, but I sure ate a lot. And it was all good. I did my share of walking around, enjoying the architecture, and to burn off the calories, but I could go back just for the food. We ate well and often and drank well and often. Every chiante or tuscan wine with a winery label was great. Some of the house wines were a bit bland, but we made up for it in quantity.

The first sandwich place on Via dell' Oriuolo set the tone for great food to go.
