Trekking the Alvão and other Vila Real, Portugal Sports Travel Tips

There are 2 paths (signaled).
One starts in Galegos da Serra and ends in Arnal, it's about 5 km long, and it takes about 3 hours; allows to appreciate the scenic views of Vila Real and surroundings.
The second starts in Mondim de Basto and ends in the natural park, and it's 50 km long, it takes about 2 days; it allows to see farms, the Fisgas de Ermelo, the river Olo and other tributaries of river Tâmega, along other points of interest.

Equipment: The usual stuff for mountain trekking.
The paths aren't very difficult, but it's needed some physical preparation.
