"Many beautiful strawberries " a Fåborg Travel Page by rickyvilla81

I was only 19, and off I went to this town somewhere on the map on a Danish island called Funen. Faaborg, west of Svendborg, on the coast, and near to the strawberry fields where I spent the summer of 1995 working. It was a really interesting learning experience, and begun my "just get up and go somewhere different" style of travelling.
And it's a really nice little place! Cute Danish houses, friendly people, a really pretty harbour and even a small beach area (where you can swim with the jellyfish). Pleasant is a word I'd use. And in the summer people like to be merry with some Carlsberg, especially at the Harbour Festival, when bands play and there are stalls and lots of stuff going on.
