Rhine River Cruise | Mom & Boo outside of the castle |
This was the first trip I took my mother and niece on. My niece had mentioned she wanted to see the "real" Germany and so I booked us on a coach trip to cruise the Rhine River Valley I had always wanted to do this, but waited until my family came over. It was awesome! As soon as we got to the area, we toured a castle, Burg Lahnek (I apologize, I forgot the name). Apparently, Queen Victoria used to summer at this castle. After touring the area we boarded a boat and cruised the river for about an hour or so. It was such a sunny day, considering that weekend we got rained on--like no other! |
