Being a military brat, people always assumed that I traveled all of my life. That's kind of true. I was born and raised in the Philippines (my mother's home), although we did live in the US for about 5 years before returning to the archipelago. When I returned to the states after graduating from high school I felt bored and on impulse joined the military. Because of that, I've done a lot more traveling than I ever could have imagined. I just love the idea of getting in my car, or boarding a train or plane and going somewhere. Now that I have a dog, I take him into consideration of where I'm going and the duration. The thing I love about Europe is I can pretty much take Spanky anywhere.
