Want Really Cheap Local Food? Eat & Drink like the locals Review

We walked around the vicinity of our Windsor Plaza Hotel and chance upon these locals sitting on these small/low chairs at street stalls enjoying their meals.

As we don't speak a single word of Vietnamese, we weren't able to ask them the price or anything at all.

But I reckon the price should be at least 1/3 of that in air-con food outlets within malls.

Favorite Dish: Didn't get a chance to try the Vietnamese beef noodle at this place but managed to do so in the hotel's cafe during buffet breakfast.

This seems to be the only food outlet in the International Airport, which is accessible via the public and serves as viewing gallery for the public to see friends and families off at the airport. Viewing gallery view only the check-in counters on the floor below.

This restaurant serves Vietnamese foods with other international food like Japanese sushi, sashimi, etc.

Wifi is available at this outlet though signal isn't very strong. Signal can be received at the check-in counters area.

Windsor Hotel Executive Lounge: Nice Ambience

We were there at the 24th floor Executive Reception for check-in and it was happy hour. We were invited to join and have some finger foods, fruits, drinks (including wine) while they process our check-in.

Happy Hours is daily between 5:00pm to 7:00pm.

Terrace Cafe: Crowded Cafe

Terrace Cafe (situated at ground floor and 1st floor) of Saigon Center was crowded when we were there. Ultimately, we managed to get seats space and ordered some food and drinks. The place serves vietnamese dishes and western dishes.

Free Wifi is available to all guest without login procedures.
