I spent 4 wonderful days in Cairo.

My Mother and I were in Sicily and joined a tour group going to Cairo. We had a fabulous time getting to know people, locals as well as tourists. I didn't take too many photographs. I think I was more into LIVING the trip. Luckily, my Mother has lots of photos and as soon as she returns from Sicily, I will post some more. In the meantime I just have a few tips for tourists.

Thanks to Ayman, Egypt_Man, my Mom and I had the opportunity to see Cairo in a different light than most tourists do. He was kind enough to pick us up at the Hotel and drove us every night and treated us to some typical Egyptian drinks, foods, and sweets at some of his local hangouts. He is a wonderful example of warm Egyptian hospitality.
