Hey everyone! Sorry, I know I've been away a while, what with the Oz trip and catching up back home, then up again to Thailand & China (mainly for work & a little bit of pleasure). Haven't had any time to update my pages but promise to do so when I get home.

Just a quick update: loved, loved, loved Australia, especially Melbourne!! It felt like a 2nd home almost instantly and the people are unbelievably friendly and warm. Can't wait to tell you all about it!!

Have just come from Bangkok & Phuket and am currently writing from Shanghai which is also a very beautiful city. Not feeling so much love from the people over here though, hehe. I'm telling you, most of the time I'm struggling not to get trampled on. I guess they figure they have enough people in this city already....fair enough.

Anyhow, will update soooooon (hopefully), but don't hold me to that...

Mum is back on her feet, thank God...still not good as new but getting there gradually ensha'Allah (God willing).

Current plan (still subject to changes) looks something like this:

22 Dec - 2 Jan in Sydney
2 - 11 Jan in Melbourne
11 - 15 Jan in Singapore

Only a few more days to go!!

Looks like our trip will be delayed. My mum fell on the stairs and broke her leg (2 fractures) & dislocated it. She had to have an op and is now in a cast for a while. Will probably take her some time to be able to walk normally again and do any trip related activities. So sadly, for now, the trip is on hold till mummy is back on her feet and all better again. Will update on any news!

Yaaaay, one of my dreams is finally coming true :))
Have a trip planned with my family in Oct-Nov (God willing) that goes as follows:
Thailand (through Bangkok):
Phi Phi island (3 days)
Phuket (7 days)
Australia (through Bangkok):
Sydney (7 days)
Melbourne (7 days)
Gold Coast (7 days)
Bangkok (unkown)
and maybe Dubai on the way back.

Sooo excited, can't wait!! But alas, i have 2....

Just wanted 2 share this with everyone....cuz yes, I know u have nothing better 2 do than 2 wonder about my travel destination fulfillments....

I spent my childhood living in a tiny town in the south of Holland, called St. Oedenrode. I spent my teenage years in Cyprus and moved to my home country, Egypt, for my university years. Now I'm living between both Cyprus and Egypt.
I am hoping to move to Australia someday, when the time is right. Although I've never been there yet, I feel I would like it there as it has most of the things I want & look for in a country (e.g. good climate, multi-cultural, beautiful scenery & nature, good standard of living, lots to see & do, SHOPPING etc.)

As for my dream travel destinations, they are currently Hawaii, The Maldives and Bora Bora (thanks to ATXtraveller, lol).

Any comments are most welcome :)
